As I went through the DD's today, I glanced upon this work. I instantly clicked. Wallpapers with "ribbons" such as this really urge me. I love them. With a passion.
Colors The colors here are a great combination. Red and blue. And beautiful tones of them too. Some deviants use intense reds and sharp blues. This piece finds a compromise between bright and dark, sharp and dull and slaps them together. The colors are possibly the most attracting thing about this.
Technique I honestly can't say I know how this was done. Some parts of it make it feel like a hand done piece. Others feel crisp like it was made with paths. I really like how it gives that effect and I would absolutely LOVE to hear how it was made.
Flare The other great thing about this wall is where red and blue collide. The flare there really gives a feeling like "Shit goes down... HERE". Like a merging point. No subtle cut off, a nice and easy merge.
Overall This definitely goes down in the "dA Wall-Hall of Fame". It's intense, calm, and strong, all at the same time. Well done my friend. Well done.
